Tackling Hunger & Homelessness!
Huskers Helping the Homeless 2025
The 29th annual Huskers Helping the Homeless fundraiser raised nearly $34,000 the weekend of September 18–20 to support the Matt Talbot's homeless prevention and outreach programs.
Over 300 volunteers participated in the three-day event, collecting monetary donations outside area stores and from football fans in downtown Lincoln ahead of the Nebraska vs. Michigan game. The weekend culminated in a community celebration at Tower Square (13th & P Streets) on September 20, featuring games, live music, face painting, and food.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, the enthusiasm of volunteers, and the support of sponsors, nearly $34,000 was raised!
“Whether it was donating online, sponsoring the event, throwing $5 in a bucket before heading to the game, or volunteering for an hour or two – every contribution made a difference,” said Alynn Sampson, Executive Director. “Together we are transforming lives and changing the game for our guests and our community.”
GO BIG RED!
THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS
