The Kitchen Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the organization’s hunger relief initiatives and kitchen/equipment needs.  The Kitchen Coordinator will maintain current ServSafe certification to ensure a clean, safe, and well-organized kitchen. This is a full-time, hourly position, eligible for full benefits. The working hours can be flexible but typically are Monday through Friday, 10:30 am to 6:30 pm.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have relevant kitchen experience: a genuine interest in the working poor and homeless and the ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds within the agency and the community; the ability to organize tasks and complete them in an efficient manner; the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with diverse audiences. Experience, education, or passion for ideal nutrition is a plus. A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in public administration, business administration, human services, hospitality, or a related field and at least one year of relevant experience, is a plus.
