Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach hosted its 17th annual Feeding the Soul of the City dinner and fundraising event on June 9, 2022, at the Country Club of Lincoln. Because of the generosity of the corporate and individual sponsors, over 200 guests who attended, and the many who gave donations prior to the event, Matt Talbot raised $160,000! Money raised will support the day-to-day hunger relief and homeless prevention services of the community kitchen and outreach center. We had many wonderful items donated this year for our Live and Silent Auctions. Guests could also purchase keys to a treasure box containing a beautiful pearl and diamond necklace and earrings generously donated by Elder Jewelry. Music was provided by Bobby Gadoury during the cocktail hour. The evening was a wonderful success and enjoyed by all in attendance.
