Life Skills Enhancement

The goal of the Life Skills Enhancement Project is to alleviate homelessness by teaching basic life skills in an atmosphere of respect and appreciation of individual life circumstances. Four-week class series are offered on Wednesday evenings throughout the year.  Collaborators include CEDARS, Lincoln Housing Authority, Vocational Rehabilitation and Wells Fargo.

Topics covered are:

  • Parenting
  • Money Management
  • Housing
  • Employment Skills

A case worker referral is required for class participants and all participants must have previously experienced or currently be homeless. Child care and transportation are offered.

Online class registration will be available in the coming months.
