Feeding the Soul of the City Rescheduled to 6/4/20

Like you, we are paying close attention to news related to the coronavirus pandemic. Matt Talbot staff and the board of directors are monitoring the situation and making necessary accommodations as this public health crisis evolves.

Amidst the many closures and cancellations in Lincoln, the needs of our guests do not stop and in fact may increase as the economic situation worsens. With schools closed, we will see increased numbers of children coming to the facility for meals. As of now, we plan to remain open and continue with our regular meal schedule.

However, based on national and local recommendations, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our annual fundraising event "Feeding the Soul of City". Rather than having the event on March 26th, we have rescheduled the event to be Thursday, June 4, 2020 - same time, same place, same award winners and same great mission!  We would love to see you in June for this special event.

Thank you for your understanding and support. Together we will get through this crisis. In the meantime, please know that our work to defeat hunger and homelessness in Lincoln is ongoing and uninterrupted.

Sincerely,

Susanne Blue, CMSW, Executive Director
