Job Opening: Volunteer Coordinator

Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach, which serves the working poor, homeless, and hungry of our community, is seeking to employ a full-time Coordinator of Volunteers for agency volunteer and development initiatives. The schedule is 40 hours per week and includes some evenings and weekends based on volunteer requests and agency needs.

General Functions: The Coordinator of Volunteers is responsible for planning, implementing and managing the organization’s volunteer initiatives outside of the hunger relief program and assisting with development efforts. The individual will also represent the organization at various outside activities. Key to this role are strong organizational, people, and writing skills.

Qualifications: The Coordinator of Volunteers shall have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in public administration, business administration, human services or related field and at least one year of relevant experience. A combination of relevant experience and education may substitute for the degree.
